TRP Lockdown TOP 10 TV Shows (April 2020)

TRP Toppers: Again 'Ramayan' Clocks Groundbreaking Numbers at 15.5 Points

Take a look as we list down the shows that were most viewed by the audience (based on Urban charts)...

Apart from multiple weeks of channel numbers coming in, we finally have the numbers of Top 5 shows to be talking about. It is obvious that there is no original programming going on but while the reruns of iconic shows did fetch great numbers for two weeks constantly, one would imagine if that would sustain or not. So, here are the Top 5 shows with some staggering numbers to look forward to-

On the 5th spot is Mahima Shanidev Ki on Dangal Channel.  The Data Shanker Pandey starrer was a rating grabber in its initial run and managed to attain a good 1.2 points during its rerun too.
After multiple news about iconic show reruns, Shaktimaan, the first Indian superhero's name was also added to the list and that got everyone excited. And while if grabbed the 4th spot here, a mere 1.4 points isn't too encouraging.
The second task from Prime Minister, Narendra Modi of 9 PM, 9 minutes was indeed one that would have everyone come together only not literally and the telecast of the same managed to grab 1.9 points for DD National.
Mahabharat, just like Ramayan was always going to be an obvious contender for big numbers during it's rerun and it managed to do that to as the iconic show is on 2nd spot with 4.7 points.
Grabbing numbers owing to excitement of having a rerun is one thing but fetching staggering and groundbreaking numbers in today's times is another. Your best show these days doesn't fetch more than 4 points and around 5 if it's insanely popular. But Ramayan's rerun has proved all statistics wrong and broken records as it grabbed gargantuan 15.5 points. Yes! That's right.
It is indeed amazing how a rerun like that of Ramayan can fetch these numbers even in today's times. What do you think about the same? Leave in your comments below.
