Zee TV's Sarojini hits a century

Cast of Zee TV's 'Sarojini' got a reason to celebrate as their show has hit a century. The family drama completed its 100 episodes on November 19. To rejoice the occasion, the entire cast cut a cake on the sets and celebrated. Lead of the show, Mohit Sehgal said, "I am extremely happy that our show has hit a century. It feels great to work with such an amazing team. I hope and pray that we work harder and keep entertaining the viewers."

Channel V's 'Sadda Haq' completes 500 episodes: Channel V's youth centric show has completed 500 epiosdes. The leads, new comers Harshita Gaur and Param Singh, became overnight stars as Sanyukta and Randhir! The show touches on the contemporary topic of a woman fighting for her rights in a man’s world. Set in the backdrop of a mechanical engineering college, 'Sadda Haq' became a rage from the time it hit screens. Param shared, “Today we are not shooting, so just chilling out. We have all planned to party tonight. Looking forward to having a great time with my Sadda Haq family.” Producer Yash Patnaik, on the other hand shared, “Sadda Haq has been our most experimental show, and an eye opener in many ways. Since we did not have any baggage, we went all out with our conviction. Thankfully, we also got the outmost support from the channel. I think Sadda Haq has really worked wonders for the whole team.”

Taarak Mehta... completes 1800 episodes: Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has added yet another jewel to its crown by completing laughter and entertainment-filled 1800 episodes. The show is currently number one on its channel and ranks in top 10 across all channels. “It is team work. Comedy is a difficult genre, especially if it is an absolute family entertainer. The show’s writers are very good and consistent and the actors are extremely talented with an excellent comic timing. I too am 101% involved in the day-to-day development of show.” says producer Asit Kumarr Modi who has also conceived and designed the show.

Recently, Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor came on the set to celebrate Diwali. Salman, who was visiting the set for the second time was pleasantly surprised to know that the show completed so many episodes without breaks, generation leaps, dramatic twists or negative tracks. The Bollywood actor then congratulated the team for the achievement and told them hanste raho.

'Mere Angne Mein' hits a century: The cast and crew of Star Plus’ 'Mere Angne Mein' recently celebrated the successful completion of their 100 episodes. The show which garnered a lot of eyeballs for its multi starrer talented cast did a cake cutting on sets itself. When asked why they did not throw a party the leading lady of the show, Ekta Kaul playing the character of Riya Mathur said, “Since last week our show has become 7 days a week with an hour of on air content daily. To deliver the same, the team has been shooting all days a week and we are putting in a lot of effort to give our best to the audience. So our director and the entire team of 'Mere Angne Mein' decided to do a small cake cutting on the sets itself and not throw a party as we had to immediately resume our shoot after gulping the delicious cake”.

Comedy Classes turns one year old:

It’s time for celebrations on the sets of Life OK’s popular comedy show 'Comedy Classes' as it completes the glorious one year. To double the celebration, present on the show were the renowned celebrities from the television industry like Ajaz Khan, Rakhi Sawant, Vishal Singh, Upasana Singh, Kamya Punjabi, Smita Bansal, Amrapali Gupta, Apara Mehta and RJ Malishka.

When contacted actor Ajaz Khan, he said delightedly, “I am very happy that Comedy Classes is completing one year and I wish the show all the luck. I was really looking forward to be on the sets, meeting everyone and enjoying the laughter dose.”

Balika Vadhu completes 2,000 episodes:

Anandi (Toral Rasputara) finally met her lost daughter Nimboli (Gracy Goswami), as Balika Vadhu finished 2,000 episodes in September 2015. A show that brought out the miseries individuals go through when they have a child marriage, Balika Vadhu started in July 2008.

A source said, "In the last couple of years many actors quit the show and new actors took their place, but the show has continued and is loved for its script."

When we contacted Toral about her views, she said, "It is wonderful that the mother will unite with daughter in the 2,000th episode. I have a great connect with Gracy offscreen and finally it will come alive on screen now." Added Gracy, "I joined the show only a few months back, but there have been so many great moments here till the 2,000th episode."

'Reporters' complete glorious 100 episodes:

In the first week of September 2015, TV show Reporters completed shooting their 100th episode and a cake cutting ceremony was organized, which saw the participation from not just the cast of the show but also the crew. One could see fun, enthusiasm and laughter all around with everyone being in high spirits.

Expressing his happiness, the talented actor Rajeev Khandelwal who essays the role of Kabir says, "Glad that our excitement hasn't gone done one bit even though we are half way through the series. We have made a great team - the actors, the writers, the technicians and everyone has contributed equally to make the show successful."

Itna Karo Na..completes 150 episodes in August 2015:

For the cast and crew of Sony Entertainment's popular show 'Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar' it was celebration time as it completed a successful run of 150 episodes. The lead actors Ronit Roy 'Neil', Pallavi Kulkarni 'Raghini' and Darshan Pandya 'Aman' cut a cake with the entire cast and crew of the show. Ronit personally made sure that everyone present on set had a piece of cake.

Talking on the occasion, Ronit said, "All of us are happy with the response we have received from the viewers. It's surely a time to celebrate our efforts and hard work. I would like to thank all our viewers on behalf of the entire team for their support. Without the love of the audience this wouldn't have been possible. We promise to entertain them and also hope we complete 1500 episodes soon."

Pallavi Kulkarni added, "It's been such a beautiful journey that we didn't even realize when we completed 150 episodes. I would like to thank all our fans for showering us with so much love. As the celebrations continued, Ronit Roy was seen in a fun mode as he pulled everyone's leg on set especially his on screen nemesis Darshan Pandya aka 'Aman'. While there is a lot of tension between the two characters in the show, off screen the two get along like a house on fire.

TV show Jamai Raja completed a successful run of one year in August 2015. This called for a big celebration on the sets where everyone from the cast and crew got together for a giant cake-cutting. Having captivated millions of viewers across the world, the show is now progressing to an even more interesting turn of events with Sid-Roshni getting remarried with both the families' blessings.

‘Jamai Raja’ aka Ravi Dubey says “It feels awesome that Jamai Raja has completed one year. When you have well-etched character as and a strong script, it is bound to create magic. Mid of July, 2015 was a celebration time for &TV shows, ‘Begusarai’ and ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’ as they completed 100 episodes. A special event was organized on the sets of the comic caper ‘Bhabiji’. Actors from both the shows cut the cake in presence of select media. Small screen’s new baddie ‘Lakhan’ aka Vishal Aditya Singh from ‘Begusarai’ arrived with his ‘on-screen’ parents and newlywed bride ‘Poonam’ played by Shivangi Joshi. They were soon joined by handsome Sartaj Gill who plays ‘Priyom’. Leaner looking Sartaj was happy posing for the shutterbugs. Soumya Tandon, Asif Sheikh and Rohitansh Gaur were present on behalf of ‘Bhabiji’ team.

‘Angoori’ aka Shilpa Shinde who is recuperating from a surgery was missed by one and all. ‘Begusarai’ boys, Vishal and Sartaj looked quite smitten with their neighborhood bhabhi ‘Anita’ aka Soumya Tandon. In return, ‘Tiwari ji’ aka Rohitansh Gaur showered all his attention on ‘Poonam’. The actors were elated at the success of their shows. Soumya Tandon gave the credit to the director Shashank Bali and writer Manoj Santoshi for the success of ‘Bhabiji’. Fresh talents, Vishal, Sartaj and Shivangi warmly greeted Asif Sheikh. Asif Sheikh who plays ‘Vibhuti’ in ‘Bhabiji’ pointed out that the occasion brought together gun trotting ruthless ‘Thakurs’ from ‘Begusarai’ and comedians from ‘Bhabiji’.

Director Shashank Bali of ‘F.I.R’ fame confirmed that ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’ has offered something unique to the viewers. Fan of comedy shows like ‘Wonder Years’, ‘Office Office’ and ‘Yes Boss’, Shashank expressed his desire to direct a horror show in future.

He commented cheekily, “ I pour all my love of horror into my comedy shows!” Soumya Tandon with her translucent complexion and mischievous smile was looking ravishing in a black sari. When questioned about her best buddy on the sets, the ‘Gori Mem’ replied,

“My Hairdresser!” Soumya who is receiving praises for her portrayal of well-groomed ‘Anita’, revealed that she has used her personal style for her screen character. ‘Begusarai’ trio, Vishal, Shivangi and Sartaj were basking in the success of the show. Vishal and Sartaj got into a mock verbal over the girl they both loved on-screen- ‘Poonam’ aka Shivangi. As we left the venue, the actors were already engrossed in rehearsing lines and giving their best shot in front of the camera, so to take their shows a notch higher on the TRP charts

'Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat' completed a century of episodes on June 19, 2015:

Started in February, over the course of the past few months, the show has become a favourite among viewers as the journey of the boy has taken him to Magadh where he lives his life under the watchful eye of King Bindusar’s counsellor, Chanakya.

“‘Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat’, for me, has been an experience of a lifetime. It feels like just yesterday when we started filming the show, and now we are already pushing the 100-episode mark. Playing a character as strong and confident as Ashoka has taught me so much about the Emperor and his personality – something that I had never thought I would learn first-hand,” Siddharth Nigam, who plays the title role in the show, said in a statement.
